Shoes … for the bike

June 16th, 2011

I know, I talk a lot about bikes at the moment. I do love those bikes.

Got these Acne/Tretorn zip sneakers yesterday. Laces are not the first choice when you ride.

Going for a ride

June 5th, 2011

I just bought the above grey Topshop Boutique top, thinking it would be good for a ride on the bike.

I haven’t been this tanned in many years, I always liked, still like, the more fair look. I ride my bike constantly and have started to get white sleeves from only wearing t-shirts, I didn’t even remember I had freckles! The thought; I prefer not to get the traditional bike tan…  I better start wearing some sleeveless tops.. Buy sleeveless top.

Top from Topshop Boutique, sports bra from Nike, jersey shorts from Topman and Acne shoes.

Rapha

June 1st, 2011

This post is a bit off topic. But I ride my bike a lot at the moment, and I am looking for a new one, everything is just about bikes, good trips or equipment. Thats why I haven’t posted in a while. Waiting for some really good inspiration. Hope it will come soon.

Rapha makes, in a market stuffed with neon colours and total ugliness, classic and like-able bikewear. I have started with a cap, I am sure that more will come, and not just caps.

Getting tired talking of Gender

May 21st, 2011

I have had the above image of Andrej Pejic from the S/S 2011 Marc Jacobs campaign placed on my desktop for some time. Not really knowing what to use it for. I actually just like it for the look, not really caring if the wearer is male or female.

There is so much talk of gender in the fashion industri at the moment. I like that it is a topic that is up for discussion, but I grow tired of the man or woman rhetoric. I think the interesting question is why we need to constantly define and classify the people surrounding us, designer muses or whoever. If I wan’t to be girly one day ( rarely ) and boyish the other, can’t I please do that without questioning my own gender or sexuality? I know the answer, but damn … I had hoped that the designers would start designing classical mens-wear for women or the like. Instead of the teeth-less black-loose-fabrics-and-low-crutch-unisex or dressing men in skirts and giving them lipstick on.

Above pictures is all of Andrej Pejic.

Ohh yes. I got a new haircut and the picture is mostly just for fun. But the statement remains.

Sunday Boy – every day boys

May 17th, 2011

I could live in the mood of this editorial. The colours, the cut and the just weird combination of nurse-skinhead-pretty hipster boy. This is so good! Have anyone seen an alternative to the Prada nurse uniform top? I am in love, but we do not have a Prada Boutique in Copenhagen.

Tail for Céline

I made this black in black fox tail charm the other day. I Like the little heart hanger I found for it.

The quest for an iphone cover

May 10th, 2011

Ended at Society6. I had trouble choosing either the stormtrooper or Boba Fett. I went for the stormtrooper… Nerd.

They have tons of options for both iphone, ipad and your Mac laptop. I have just picked out the favourites.

Who shops winter boots in the spring? I do… I have had my eyes on these for a while now.

Hope Field Zip boot.

Giles & Brother

May 4th, 2011

Giles & Brother make some quite cute bracelets. I can’t decide if I should pick number 1 or 3. I already have a nail bracelet from Margiela so that might be a bit redundant. The nail cuff can be custom stamped with an inscription of your choosing. Get it here.
